Connecting those who need help with those who can help, the Federation brings to life the values of tzedakah (justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), and chesed (caring) to support the wellbeing of individuals and families in need.
Interest-free loans can help individuals, families, and business owners get through difficult times, and now, Hebrew Free Loan also offers Building Jewish Families loans for adoption, fertility, and surrogacy.
For families in need, summer camp is not a luxury, it’s a lifeline to affordable child care when school is out, much-needed respite for children whose parents are in crisis, and much more.
The Federation supports resources for people with special needs, from camp scholarships and Birthright Israel trips to friendship programs pairing people with special needs and teen volunteers.
With 1 in 5 children living below the poverty line in Israel, programs for at-risk youth fill the gaps in public funding to lift them up for a better future. Without our help, these programs could not afford to operate.
When there’s nowhere else for our community’s most vulnerable members to turn in a crisis, the Federation and its partners look to provide aid for critical needs, such as food, shelter, transportation and safety.
Helping Holocaust survivors live in safety and dignity is of paramount importance to the Jewish community. In-home aid assists with essentials of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, meal prep, and more.
Programs and services provided by the Federation and its partners are sustained largely by tax-deductible donations to the Federation’s annual campaign and by volunteer support. Giving of your time or money are great ways to do good in the Jewish world.
